‘Mega deals’ promo a huge hit for Emarket

The number of retailers using online wholesale site Emarket has increased six-fold since September.

The site, which launched in November 2009 and claims to undercut cash & carry prices by up to 40% has been used by 3,000 retailers since its ‘mega deals’ promotion on key lines was launched.

“We’re¬†stepping it up now with free delivery”, said MD Ravi Sharma, who said the number of users had grown from 500 to 3,000 over the past five months.

From March, the site will feature Lucozade, Ribena, Rubicon, Monster Energy, Red Bull and Evian deals.  The prices had been bench-marked to beat Booker and P$H, Sharma said.
